How to send artwork that prints cleanly
If you have print-ready artwork, send it in the right size and with all text outlined or converted to curves. For business cards, flyers and stickers, we check the file for trim, margins and image quality before anything goes to print. If the artwork is too small or the colours are not set correctly, we will flag it and advise what needs fixing first.
When you are not sure, send what you have through the enquiry form and tell us what the item is for. A window sticker for a shop in Paarl has different setup needs to a magnet for a delivery bakkie in Wellington, and a vehicle wrap needs even more care around curves, handles and panel gaps.
- Use the final size you want printed, not a screenshot.
- Keep logos and photos high resolution for sharp print.
- Leave clear space around important text and QR codes.
- Tell us if the item will be used indoors, outdoors or on a vehicle.
What lead times to expect on common print jobs
Lead times depend on the item, quantity and finishing. Simple reprints like flyers, stickers or basic signage can move quickly if artwork is ready and approved. Bigger jobs like light boxes, fabricated signs, lamination or a full vehicle wrap need more planning, drying time and install booking.
Load-shedding can affect production flow, especially on wide format work and finishing, so it helps to order a bit earlier if you have a fixed opening date or event in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Worcester or Malmesbury. We will tell you if a job needs extra time because of mounting, curing or fitting.
- Small print runs are usually quicker than custom fabrication.
- Allow extra time for design changes and proof approval.
- Vehicle work should be booked before your deadline, not on the day.
- Outdoor signs may need weather checks before install.
Can I order small quantities or just one item
Yes. We print both small and larger quantities, from a few business cards to repeat sign orders for shops, farms and service vehicles. Some products are more cost effective in batches, but if you only need one safety sign, a single canvas print or one replacement decal we can still help.
For regular trade clients, it is often worth keeping a small re-order list. That way when a sticker peels, a vehicle panel is changed or municipal wording must be updated, we can produce the same item again without starting from scratch.
- Short runs suit promotions, events and testing a new design.
- Bulk orders usually lower the unit price.
- We can match repeat work to previous sizes and layout.
- Ask about reprints for faded or damaged items.
What happens when a job needs fitting or installation
Some products are made in the shop and others need on-site fitting. That includes vehicle wraps, contra-vision, window frosting, light boxes, board mounting and certain exterior signs. We check the surface first, because dusty walls, old adhesive and uneven panels can cause trouble later.
If you are in Paarl, Wellington or nearby towns, we will advise whether the job is better done in the workshop or on site. For motorbike decals and vehicle fitment, clean paintwork and a dry surface are important. In coastal humidity or after rain, we may ask you to leave the vehicle indoors before booking the install.
- Make sure the fitting area is accessible and safe.
- For vehicle work, wash the surface before the appointment.
- Let us know about tint, sensors, rivets or door handles.
- Tell us if your site has access restrictions, permits or security checks.
Do you help with sign wording and municipal requirements
Yes, we can help check the wording on safety signs, shop signs and update panels before print. If your business needs a warning notice, directional sign or compliance notice, we can set it out clearly so the message is easy to read from the correct distance.
Some sites need signs that match internal rules, landlord conditions or municipal expectations. If you are unsure whether a sign should face the street, the parking area or a loading bay, tell us how the space is used and we can advise on size and placement before production starts.
- State what the sign must say and where it will be used.
- Send any existing wording if the sign must be replaced exactly.
- Let us know if the sign must be readable from a vehicle or on foot.
- Ask about weather resistance for exposed outdoor spots.
Which areas do you deliver or support across the Boland
We are based in Paarl and support Wellington plus the wider Boland, including Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Worcester, Malmesbury, Klapmuts and Simondium. For many print orders we can arrange collection or delivery depending on size, urgency and the type of product. Bigger items like boards, banners and mounted signs may be better collected or fitted by arrangement.
When you send an enquiry, include your town, the item you need and the date it is needed by. That helps us plan the work, especially when a job needs installation, repeated reprints or a quick turn around for a promotion, site opening or fleet update.
- Paarl and Wellington are our main service areas.
- We assist clients across the Boland on a regular basis.
- Large or fragile items may need special transport arrangements.
- Tell us if the delivery point has stairs, gates or limited access.
